time flies, devastation
planet earth's a lunatic asylum
children fearful of men become violent
the blast of a shrapnel, a gunfire roar
profit and greed, I can't stand it any more
redwoodtrees standing strong and tall
how long do we need to cut them all

rusted strings, broken backs
another friend fell through the cracks
cancer kills, a virus spreads
industrial culprits try to cover their tracks
sometimes I just can't cope what I'm seeing
and I wish for something to believe in
at least pain's not endless and tears might dry
